ABA — applied behavior analysis — is the most rigorously studied therapy for autism, backed by more than fifty years of peer-reviewed research and recognized by the US Surgeon General, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Institute of Mental Health as the gold standard intervention.

Yes. ABA therapy is covered by most major insurance plans in all six states we serve — Florida, Colorado, Maryland, California, Massachusetts, and Arizona — and we accept Medicaid in Colorado, Maryland, California, Massachusetts, and Arizona. We are not yet in-network with Florida Medicaid, though we are actively working toward it. We verify your specific benefits and handle authorizations for you, so most families pay little or nothing out of pocket.
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children with autism build communication, social, and daily-living skills. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs an individualized plan, and trained therapists deliver it through positive, structured teaching in the settings where a child lives and learns.
House of Hearts ABA serves children ages 1 to 18 — from early intervention for toddlers through support for school-age children and teenagers.
Yes. We provide in-home and in-school ABA therapy so children learn skills exactly where they live and go to school, which helps those skills last. We currently serve families across Florida, Colorado, Maryland, California, Massachusetts, and Arizona.
No. We enroll families now and move quickly from the first call through assessment and the start of services — because every week a child waits is a week of developmental opportunity that cannot be recovered.
We accept major commercial carriers — including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Florida Blue, Kaiser, and TRICARE — plus Medicaid in Colorado, Maryland, California, Massachusetts, and Arizona. Florida Medicaid is not accepted yet. Coverage depends on your state and plan, so if you are not sure, we will verify it at no cost.

House of Hearts partners with Purdue Global and Arizona State University to support our team members pursuing further education in behavior analysis. Our staff use both universities as practicum sites and may qualify for partnered tuition support to advance their clinical careers.
